Church, and Governor’s mansion and on to view the Mendenhall Glacier from
Brotherhood Bridge where the fireweed and Alaska cotton frame the mighty
Mendenhall and provide ample photo opportunities. We continue North through the
once thriving Auke Indian village site to the Shrine of St. Therese where we explore
the sacred and serene waterfront grounds. From here we continue “out the road” to
Eagle Beach to take in the expansive sand beach and incredible Chilkat mountain
range while relaxing over a light, Alaskan snack. On our return to town, we stop in at
the award-winning Alaskan Brewing Company for a taste of Juneau you’ll truly enjoy.
